Blessed Beauty Workshop With Helen Stubbings
Tuesday November 25th
Session 1 : 10am –1
Session 2 : 7pm – 10
Hosted by Country Chix
Venue : Ascot Theatre, Graves St, Kadina
As the date for the Workshop with the very accomplished Helen Stubbings rapidly approaches, we thought it might be time for us all to get organized!
The project we will be doing with Helen is “Blessed Beauty”, and we have the sample in the shop now.
This project will concentrate on Colourqué, and also some hand-stitching. If there is enough interest we will run an extension class of machine quilting at a later date, to assist you in finishing your project (However all instructions to complete the project will be provided to you).
We will be making up class kits for everybody, as the requirements for this project are quite specific. These will be at an extra cost to the class, $40.00.
In addition, you will need to bring with you the following:
6” Embroidery Hoop
Embroidery Scissors
Fabric Scissors
Small hand towel or tea towel (rag)
If you like, you may also bring:
A cushion to sit on
A bottle of water
Camera
Glasses if you need them
Chocolate!
This class will be lot’s of fun, and suitable for all levels of stitchers. Helen is an experienced designer, stitcher and author (among many other things, including a Mum!), so we are sure that not only will you have an enjoyable few hours, you will learn a lot as well.
We look forward to stitching with you!
