When I was a single mother raising my children, I hoped for the time I could do some me things..and like you...it only happened when I was incapacitated., and not for long.....Now here I am with plenty of time on my hands, and I'm busy in the sewing room making warm clothes for my grandchildren. Then in the evenings I'm knitting berets, beanies, vests and cardigans as requested by my married girls because their children are getting cold!!!!! I keep thinking that when I have finished I will make something for my self!!. But I am so selfless that my time is still for my family...and this is my me time..... And moving around is great- just take it easy though. I have been a little housebound too with two swollen discs in my back- I can't sit at my desk to craft or sew but I discovered I can crochet laying down on the couch! There ae granny squares everywhere! I can even blog-surf from the couch as there is a wireless connection to the computer that's hooked up to the tv- I am typing this comment laying down- FANTASTIC!
