After a false start last term, my baby started kindy last Wednesday…Yeay!! Possibly, I am more excited than I should be. But, for the first time in almost 9 years, there was no “working mother” guilt. One at school, one at kindy, perfect socially acceptable, no need to justify my plans to anyone ….Freedom!!!!
Now, I really need this day – I have tons of work to do on the Celebrant side of life, plenty of sewing projects to do, and my house could certainly do with some TLC.
So what did I do with my new-found freedom? Worked through my list of things to do? Made my house sparkle? Planned the next few months ceremonies?
Well, no.
Spent the day at Country Chix, of course!
Sue and I have been itching to get stuck into the new range of Kaiser craft papers (where to start?!), so we spent the entire day playing, working, and can now unveil 2 of our upcoming class projects.
Yep, that’s my kindy kid – Storyboard class is on Feb 26th.
This is one of Sue’s scrap classes – and that’s her baby, the one that started High School this term! Yikes, those years just slip on by don’t they…. You can join this class on March 28th.
