Ambience and Decore

christmas-026.jpgchristmas-031.jpg

Just thought I’d share a little bit of our Christmas Day with you. Mark was in charge of Catering (and he did a sensational job, although the power did got to his head a smidge…apparently, I’m no longer capable of even chopping lettuce correctly!), and I was in charge of Ambience and Decore.

We (I!) went with a black and silver theme, and the kids cut out snowflakes that we hung from the ceiling for the wow factor (if anybody has any tips for removing sticky tape marks from ceiling, I’m all ears!)

Santa was very good to everybody, especially the smaller people.

More importantly, we were surrounded by Family and Friends, and enjoyed a wonderful few days of special visitors.

I hope your days were filled with happy times and memories also, and that 2008 is good to you.

Cheers

Lisa

oooh.. looks lovely! So matching… I really need guidance with ambience and decor… no such thing in my house. They are REALLY lucky I didn’t get out the plastic plates and cutlery! Hee hee. You would have been really sad that you didn’t get to even cut the lettuce… poor thing. :)

Well, we did have disposabble plates – had to draw the line somewhere with 17 for lunch!
Yep, I have now officially given up all kitchen activities….devastated….

You allknow I love a bit of ambience and decor and looks like you did a wonderful job of creating the festive mood- I’m so over red and green so I’m luvin’ your colour scheme. Kudos to Mark for catering for 17 and tell him I agree there’s a right way and a wrong way to chop lettuce!!! Tania pointed out to me at IGA in Geraldton on Christmas Eve that you can get plastic cutlery that is silver in colour!! No tips for the sticky tape removal I’m afraid- maybe some citroclean?? I use that to get labels off jars and other things. Happy New Year to everyone too Kiss Kiss
