It was Chelseas 8th Birthday last week (I know, how could I possibly have a child that old??), and we celebrated with a cupcake themed party.
Instead of lolly bags, everybody took home a Pink Poppy Cupcake trinket box (with a surprise inside), and a very cool helium ballon.
Naturally I got a bit carried away, and decided I would use the Material Posessions cupcake book for inspiration and make napkins – I know, what was I thinking??
So, anyway only one (sorta) got finished before I realized the ridiculousness of this plan, and moved on. That said, if time had been on my side, how good would these have looked?
Of course, the cake is always the main event, and Chloe from Just Desserts gets all the credit – they were a hit!
Not only did they look gorgeous, they tasted pretty good as well!
Happy Birthday Chelsea,
Love Mum xxx

Hi Mrs. Allan – ( apologies for being so formal but don’t know your first name).
I would like to invite you to a women’s evening of fun and fellowship at Christ Church Kadina ( Hay Street) . My cousin in law from South Africa will be our guest speaker – she is a breast cancer survivor now for fifteen years as well as a marriage counselor and lay minister – she is passionate about encouraging others. The session is on Wednesday , 2 Sept at 6.15pm – a light supper followed by her address , questions and prayer if necessary. Do hope you could join us. Please feel free to extend the invitation to other women who you know may benefit .
Regards
